Here's how #WomenLead will change going forward

Hello!

Your favourite newsletter about women in politics is going through a transformation! ✨

For the past (almost) three years, #WomenLead has been bringing you the most important updates about all things women in politics every week. In all these editions, we’ve visited multiple countries, tracking representation, milestones, and witnessed history being made. We’ve also seen the ugly side of this world that has been predominantly occupied by men in most parts of the globe.

⚡️ We think now it’s time to step up our work. 

In addition to tracking news and other updates, we want to bring you more - analyses, case studies, interviews. 

But to do that - and to make sure you are not getting inundated with information from us - our publishing cadence will change. 

Starting April, you will receive one email from us at the end of each month where we will curate all the news and events that you have come to love #WomenLead for.

We will continue to track all that’s happening with women in politics around the globe with the same rigour and discipline as we have done for the past three years. But instead of sending these updates to you every Sunday, we will compile and send them to your inbox once each month!

In between these monthly emails, we will spend more time to dive into data, reach out to experts for interviews, partner with organisations to bring you field stories (and a lot more). We will publish these from time to time on our webpage.

💌 So, what should you do? 

Keep an eye out for us at the end of April! And follow us on Twitter if you want to get bite-sized updates through the month.

More importantly, write to us with ideas that you would like to see us dive into. If you’re a researcher, tell us about your work - we’d love to interview you. If you are an organisation that works with women leaders, tell us how we could tell their stories to the world! And if you have a dataset that we could dip our toes into, bring it on! 

Most importantly, keep all your love and support for #WomenLead coming. We’ve come so far only because of all of you, and it’s only this love and support that’s helping us dream bigger.
